I worked at Emeritus corp in fredericksburg.I did say stop to the unethical acts that where going on and before I knew it we were forced out or fired for reasons that were not founded.

Thank you for this invaluable feedback. I am a huge proponent of all my clients posting their resumes online and it is so sad how many career coaches and hr professionals and people in general tell individuals NOT TO POST their resumes online. So it’s refreshing to have someone in the business reporting and confirming that advertising jobs online and finding candidates online is the way to go! It’s saves time and money for hiring companies.

Hello, Thank you so much for your feedback. I am a former recruiter and headhunter too. You are right it is not appropriate to publish your references on your resume and put them online. Great advice!

I know it does and it is so important for you to be around people and not to isolate. So please make sure you join a job search support group. If you live in the United States please google your one stop career centers. Find your nearest location and they will help you find a job search support group. If you don’t have a career center near your home then just google a job search support group near your local town or city. Also, email me at rebecca@dearjane.info and I can send you some tips and information on how to get a job.

Thank you so much for your honesty. I am sorry that I never responded. As you can tell I am not very high tech. I always say I am high touch and low tech. I am going to be more active with my blog postings and responses. It’s so hard to communicate positively about ourselves. Have you ever read the book Brag, The Art of Tooting Your Own Horn Without Blowing It? It was written by Peggy Klaus. Please buy it. It’s not expensive and it’s a quick read. You will like it and it’s all about positive communication.
